19 Yrs of the SoulCeez + Daz-I-Kue + Cosmo Baker... WOW!!

U Street Music Hall has been doing the damn thing, just in case you haven't noticed. And we've been fortunate enough to have a few chances to stretch out in the comfortable confines of their world class DJ booth and rock out on their insane system. Well, this fall we're kinda going extra hard.

The Soul Controllers are proud to welcome back to D.C. our brother Darren Benjamin aka the Dazmanian Devil aka Daz-I-Kue of broken beat mastery, the James Brown Godfather parties and deep DEEP boogie crates. This will be his first time at U-Hall so let's make it a proper one.

Then in October, Philly & Brooklyn's own Cosmo Baker makes his second U-Hall appearance. Last time he smashed Red Fridays with an all vinyl set of classic house. This time he'll get to rock the chambers he's known for worldwide: funk, rare soul nuggets, real hip-hop, b-boy weapons and 'nuff surprises. We're really honored and excited about this one. Cosmo is truly a DJ's DJ in the classic sense that the SoulCeez have always built our style on.

And get this...

As of this month, we're officially in YEAR 19 OF THE SOUL CONTROLLERS AS A CREW!

We might need some vitamins, Depends and walkers with cut off tennis balls on the back legs. Bammas been in the game for a minute and we have some great friends to help us celebrate!
